Donations from the King-Father and Queen-Mother included roads in laterit ( 5, 500 meter long) with 7 irrigation pipes under it, a 50m long and 30m. large and 3m high reservoir located in Toap Mean commune, district of Tpong, province of Kompong Speu. Another artificial reservoir donated by the King-Father and the Queen-Mother: a 50m long and 20m large and 3m deep located in Sla Ket pagoda, Ta Ou commune, in Kirivong district, in Takeo province. Thes two royal donations were inaugurated in pictures by King-Father’s team in the presence of His Majesty the King on 11 May 2009 in Khemarin Palace. On this occasion representatives from the two communes and local authorities were given royal donations. His Majesty the King cut the symbolic inauguration ribbon of the road linking the national 42 with Phnom Dach Phdao, the inauguration of the artificial reservoir of Tpong, in Kompong Speu province and another reservoir located in Sla Ket pagoda, in Ta Ou commune, in Kirivong district- Takeo province. These royal donations will be put in the population service from that day on. His Majesty the King gave on the King-Father and Queen-Mother’s behalf to the local authorities and provincial representatives: food, commodities, clothes, home equipments and financial support.
