On 4 May 2009 His Majesty welcomed in Tevea Vinichhay Palace, Ministry of Cult and Religion's top officials and representatives of Khmer Islam in Cambodia, together with a hundred members of the delegation on the occasion of His Majesty's Birthday celebrations. His Majesty expressed thanks to Khmers Islams and in return through their intermediaries "Imam, Vice Imam, Hakem et Tuon" wished them prosperity and longevity. Khmer Islam delegation leaders from all over the provinces and the capital:: Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Kompong Cham, Takeo, Preah Sihanoukville, Koh Kong, Kampot, Kratie, Kandal, Pursat, Kompong Chhnang, Siem Reap, Komong Thom, Stung Treng, and Prey Veng, were given presents from His majesty . Top officials and leaders of the delegation received bags of rice, other commodities and financial support.
