On 31 July 2009, His Majesty the King visited three villages in Baray district , in Kompong Cham province. Accompanying His Majesty, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, and other Palace dignitaries. His Exc. M. Hun Neng, governor of Kompong Cham province and local officials were also present during the Royal humanitarian visit. At Rol Chrook village, district of Baray, His Majesty the King was visiting the poor families in their homes and had cordial talk with them. Each family received royal donations in material and financial support.
