On 21 July 2009, His Majesty the King received Professor Beat Richner, founding president of Kantha Bopha Child hospital, and his colleagues, in Khemarin Palace. Professor Beat Richner informed His Majesty of an international seminar for medical students in Preah Bat Jayavarman VII hospital, and Kantha Bopha III hospital in Siem Reap, in November 2009.
