His Majesty the King proceeded with the cutting of the inaugural ribbon for the new building “C” to be open to the public.
His Majesty the King showed to the audience a plaque with the King-Father’s and Queen-Mother’s names, the royal donators of the Jayavarman VII Hospital new compound.
His Majesty King-Father and Her Majesty Queen-Mother donated 300,000 USD, given to them by a Japanese monk KYUSE ENSHINIJOH, and 20,000 USD from their own contributions.
His Majesty the King visited the new rooms, which were equipped with modern surgical instruments by Professor Beat Reachner.
So far the children’s hopital Kantha Bopha 3 has vaccinated 600 children per day, given 330 women prenatal care per day, helped with 50 childbirths per day, accommodated 50 children, carried out 1,100 consultations per day.
