On 22 March 2009 HM the King left the capital for Europe for health reasons. Among the top officials present at the airport: Samdech Chea Sim president of the Senate, Samdech Heng Samrin president of the National Assembly and Samdech Hun Sen prime minister and HE M. Jean François DESMAZIERES ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of France to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
