On 6 March 2009 HM the King was presiding over a religious ceremony commemorating Preah Bat Norodom Suramarith's memory, which took place in the Preah Keo Morokot pagoda. Attending the ceremony: Samdech Norodom Sirivuth - Member of the Privy Council to HM the King and spouse, Samdech Sisowath Chivan Monireak - 1st Vice president of the Senate and spouse, Samdech chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol - Vice Prime Minister-Mnister of the Royal Palace, as well as members of the Royal family and dignitaries of the Palace.
