On 19 March 2009 HM the King was visiting the needy population in Boeng Kaek village - Commune of Roka - Kandal District. Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, HE M. Chan Sarun, Agriculture Forestry and Fishery minister and other top officials were accompanying HM on this visit. HM the King inquired about the family's situation in each home. HM the King also informed them of H.M. King-Father's and H.M. Queen-Mother's concern for the population. The villagers benefitted from royal donations in househol goods, materials and finances, and schoolchildren were given school materials.
