On 22 March 2009 in Throne hall HM the King was presiding over a religious ceremony celebrating the passage of the Buddhist Year to a new one .
HM the King was illuminating the traditional candles to inaugurate the ceremony, which should take place three nights and four days from 22 March to 25 March 2009.
