On the occasion of the 99th anniversary of Women's Day HM the King received Women's delegations from different ministries, institutions and organisations in : the Prasat Serey Monkul on 2 March 2009. Samdech Preah Ream Norodom Bopha Devi, Samdech Sosowath Pong Neary Monipong, HRH. Princess Norodom Marie and other princesses were present on this occasion. Mrs. Ing Kanthaphavy, minister for Women's Affairs led a delegation of 78 women reported on women's effort and activities to improve living conditions as well as to contribute to the country's development in all domains.
