On 21 August 2009, His Majesty the King visited the poor population of 6 villages of Sre Knong commune, district of Chum Kiri, in Kampot province. Accompannying His Majesty the King on His visit, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister and minister of the royal palace, together with provincial authorities. At Damnak Chnuol village, while visiting each poor family’s home, His Majesty the King donated rice, provided material and financial support.
