Following the ceremony, HM the King, accompanied by Samdech Preah Aphiserey Sokunthea Moha Sankareachea Thipadey Bou Kri and the Royal Entourage, proceeded to the hallowed ground where a Pothipreuk (sacred Banyan tree, the grand symbol of Buddhism) was planted; whereupon, HM the King graciously blessed the gathering of 350 poor families representatives from Kampot town with the Royal Donation.
