In 22 July 2012 morning, HM King Norodom Sihamoni departed the Kingdom for Beijing for a routine medical checkup. Present at Phnom Penh international airport to offer HM the King safe travel were Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister, HE Mr. Nguon nhel 1st vice President of the National Assembly, HE Mr. Say Chum 1st vice President of the Senate, HE Mr. Pan Koang Xu Ambassador of the PRC to the Kingdom of Cambodia , Royal Family Members and other high ranking Officials of the Royal Government.
