On 14 December 2008 H.M. King Norodom Sihamoni granted an audience to Professor Lyvong Yaoly President of the Cambodian Orphanage Committee and Health Centre to France , to M. Lim Sopheap President of the Cambodian Orphanage Committee and Health Centre in Cambodia , and to compatriots from France , at the Khemarin Palace . On this occasion HM the King gave His blessings to the new couple M. Khun Nandara and Miss Ouk Phalla. The two presidents informed HM the King of the Committee’s activities particularly by the end of this month they will lead a delegation to distribute food, clothes, school materials to orphans in Kompong Speu, together with the subventions to visit cultural heritage in the country. Among the Association’s aid and donations : the construction of a Health Centre in Vihear Sour – Kandal province in 1998 and a generator, sanitation facilities, medicine, and financial support to the Health Centre‘s staff.
