On 24 December 2010 in Khemarin Palace, HM the King greeted a Japanese delegation led by former Japanese Minister of Post and Telecommunication H.E. Mr. ISSEI INOUE, and Japanese senator H.E. Mr. HIROHIKO NAKAMURA. On this occasion the Japanese delegation presented HM the King with 10 tons of rice, and bonsai called « heaven tree » symbols of King’ s happiness, prosperity and longevity. HM the King offered H.E. Mr. ISSEI INOUE documents on Royal Humanitarian Action and traditional silverwork.
