On 17 December 2010, HM the King went to visit the needy families of Banteay Thleay village, Prey Khla commune, Koh Andeth district, in Takeo province. HM the King was accompanied by Deputy prime Minister and Minister of the Royal palace Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy prime minister and Minister in charge of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers H.E. Mr. Sok An, senior Minister in charge of Royal palace Affairs H.E. Mr Kuy Sophal, Minister in charge of the Ministry of the Royal palace H.E. Mr. Chhea Horn, high ranking Officials, Deputies, and local Authorities. HM the King handed out support for 6 poor families in their homes. Each family received 50kg of rice, a box of noodles, bedding kit, clothes and 50,000 riels.
