On November 24, 2007, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni presided over the traditional ceremony of the Moon greeting in the Throne Hall. The ceremony was attended by members of the Royal Family, of Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Som Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace and by members of the Ministry of the Royal Palace.
