On August 24, 2007, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni went to the Banteay Chhmar Temple, a prominent place of the Khmer heritage, to pray and visit the people of Banteay Chhmar, Thmar Puok district, Banteay Meanchey province. His Majesty was accompanied by Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Som Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace and H.E. Nhek Bun Chhay, Deputy Prime Minister of the RGC.
