On August 22, 2007, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni granted an audience to H.E. Dr. Sasithara Pichai Channrong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Kingdom of Thailand, and a long time friend of His Majesty when He was the Cambodian Ambassador to the UNESCO.
