Buddhist Celebrations of « Sungkrane »

On 31 March, 2011 at the Throne Hall, HM the King presided over the Buddhist Celebrations of “Sungkrane”.
The celebrations started with the lighting of sacred candle, ritual conducted by HM the King to signal the 3 Day celebration from 31 March to 4 April 2011.
Attending this solemn ceremony were members of the Royal family and Palace officials, Samdech Norodom Sirivudh, High Privy Counsellor to HM the King, HRH Princess Nordom Marie, Adviser to the Cabinet of HM the King, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Royal Palace, H.E. Mr. Kuy Sophal, Senior Minister in charge of Royal Palace Affairs.
