When the people in the Kingdom celebrated the Buddhist festival Kathen Tean to supply buddhist monks in different pagodas, His Majesty the King presided over the Buddhist ceremony in the Throne Hall in 5 october 2009 afternoon. A royal procession will transport the material and financial subsidies to their destination: Svay Pope pagoda, Sangkat Tonle Bassak, Khan Chamcar Mon, in Phnom Penh. Attending the ceremony in theThrone Hall: Samdech Preah Ream Norodom Bopha Devi, Samdech Preah Anoch Norodom Arun Rasmi, Samdech Chivan Monireak and spouse, Samdech Sisowath Pongneary Monipong, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, members of the Royal Family and Royal Palace dignitaries.
