On 2nd November 2015 afternoon, HM the King Norodom Sihamoni and HM the Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk observed, in the Throne Hall, the Royal Kathen Tean ritual, a Buddhist ceremony consisted in supplying Buddhist monks with offerings. This year Their Majesties have chosen Meatekaram Pagoda, in Boribo district, Kompongchhnang Province, as a pagoda to receive the Royal Kathen Tean offerings.
