HM the King offered religious offering and financial support to 5 Buddhist monks present at the ceremony: 240,000 riels to the provincial deputy chief of Monks, 200,000 riels to the patriarch of pagoda 200,000 riels. HM the King also offered 500,000 riels in contribution to each pagoda’s renovation. HE Mr. M Utt Samon Governor of Kompong Thom province, and H.E. Mr. Ouk Rabunn, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery delivered a welcoming speech connected with a report on reforestation activities during the past year. After giving a Cordial Address to the audience, HM the King handed over a Visitors’ Book to H.E. Mr. Ouk Rabunn, expressing satisfactions over the Royal Government’s achievements, in particular those of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery. HM the King also offered symbolic bushes to some province representatives. To Daun Chi TaChi, Handicaps, poor people, HM the King donated the fisrt neccessity products and 50,000 riels, the pupils received note books and 5,000 riels, the Red Cross youth members and members of the Scout received 5,000 riel each , the teaching corps and corps members received 50,000 riels, 1 sarong and 1 Krama each, the dancers and musicians received 1 sarong and 20,000 riels each.
