At 12:55 pm of August 2013, HM the King carried out a trip from Beijing to Nanjing Town, province of Jiangsu to priside over the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Asian Youth Games, Nanjing 2013in the evening of August 16th 2013. Among the Royal Entourage, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Royal Palace Minister, Lok Chumteav Khek Caimaly Sisoda, High privy Counselor to HM the King and Ambassadress Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to the People's Republic of China , H.E. Mr. Srey Nory, Directof of the Secretariat of HM the King and Spouse. At Nanjing airport, HM the King was welcomed by the Deputy Governer and the local Authorities of Jiangsu province.
