After the visit at the mill, HM King Norodom Sihamoni and HM Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, accompanied by Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen, and other government high ranking officials visited Mong Rithi’s palm oil plantation, in Prey Nup district, Preah Sihanouk province. HM the King and HM the Queen-Mother made donations to the 280 workers of the plantation. Each of them received 1 blanket, 1 sarong, 1 mosquito net, 1 krama, and 50,000 riels. HM The King gave a silver bowl to Oknha Mong Rithi as a souvenir. At the end of the Royal Visit, HM the King and Samdech Hun Sen planted smbolic palm trees at the Mong Rithi’s plantation.
