On 17 November 2011, HM the King begins his humanitarian activities in Saang district, Kandal province, by visiting 2 poorest flood victims families. Each family received 20 kg of IR 66 paddy seed, 50kg of rice, a case of noodle, a 12 bottle pack of drinking water, a kit with mosquito net and clothes, food and 50,000 riels. Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, H.E. Mr. Kuy Sophal Senior Minister in charge of Royal Palace Affairs, H.E. Chhea Horn, Minister of the Royal Palace, and local Authorities were accompanying His Majesty the King.
