On 1st July 2011 HM King Norodom Sihamoni presided over a new building “Cardio/Angiography Department” Children’s Hospital Jayavarman VII, annexes to Children’ s Hospital Kantha Bopha III in Siem Reap Town.. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, 1st Vice Chairman of National Assembly H.E. Mr. Nghuon Nhel, Deputy Prime Mnister and Defense Minister H.E. Mr. Tea Banh, Health Minister H.E. Mr. Mam Bun Heng, Founding Director of Kantha Bopha Hospital Doctor Beat Reachner, Parliamentarians,Senators, Government Officials, Medical Teams, local Authorities, Teachers and Students and Siem Reap population welcomed HM the King. After the inaugural speech, HM the King offered 10,000 US$ to Jayavarman Hospital before visiting the hospital exhibition. HM the King also visited patients and provided clothes and financial support.
