On Wednesday August 4, 2010, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni presided over the opening of the 5th Congress of the Cambodian Red Cross. On this occasion, HM announced a royal contribution of 10.000 US dollars granted by Their Majesties King-Father Norodom Sihanouk and Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, Honorary Chairperson of the Cambodian Red Cross. The royal donation was solemnly deliverd toLok Chumtiev Thom Bun Rany Hun Sen Chairwoman of the CRC, by Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Som Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace. H.M. King Norodom Sihamoni also offered 5.000US dollars to the CRC.
