On 6 April 2010 HM the King inaugurated a new annexe to an eye hospital in Takeo province. HM the King was accompanied by Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Vice prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, HE Mr Sar Kheng, Vice prime Minister and Minister of Interior, HE Mr Kuy Sophal, Senior Minister in charge of Royal Palace Affairs, HE Mr Mam Bun Heng, Minister of Health, HE Mr Chhea Han, Minister in charge of Royal Palace Affairs, Government officials, Parliamentarians, local authorities, humanitarian organizations’ representatives, local population including teachers and students. The new annexe has been donated by humanitarian organizations, such as CBM, Marie Knoll, AUSAID, with subventions from the ministry of Health and Takeo provincial authorities.
