On December 28, 2007, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni presided over the inauguration ceremony of the Kantha Bopha 5 paediatric hospital in Phnom Penh, attended by Samdech Akka Mohapadey Decho Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Royal Government, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Som Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, Professor Beat Richner, founder of the Kantha Bopha hospitals, as well as by the diplomatic corps.
