On December 12, 2007, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, arrived at the Phnom Penh International Airport from a two week stay in Beijing where He receive medical treatment. His Majesty was welcomed by Samdech Akka Mohathammpothisal Chea Sim, Chairman of the Senate, Samdech Akka Mohachakrey Heng Samrin, Chairman of the National Assembly, Samdech Akka Mohapadey Decho Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Royal Government, HRH Samdech Norodom Sirivudh, by members of the Senate, of the National Assembly, of the Government and of the diplomatic corps.
