On Monday March 6, 2006, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni celebrated the 100th Anniversary of His grand-father, His Majesty King Norodom Suramarit. The ceremony took place in the Silver Pagoda, within the Royal Palace compound. The large majority of the Royal family attended the ceremony, among whom there were HRH Samdech Preah Ream Norodom Buppha Devi, HRH Samdech Borom Reamea Norodom Yuvaneath, HRH Samdech Norodom Sirivudh, one of King Suramarit's son.
