On Monday March 6, 2006, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni granted an audience to Mrs. Veasna Malterre, Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Khmer Association in France and to Mr. Georges CHOURAQUI, a painter. Mrs. Malterre made a detailed report to the King of the situation and the way of life of the Cambodians living abroad and, in particular, in France. His Majesty the King was pleased to inform Mrs. Malterre that He was invited for a State visit in France which would take place in September 2006.
