On December 26, 2011, in Khemarin Palace, HM the King granted an audience to Dr. Beat Richner, Founding Chairman of the Kantha Bopha's Children Hospitals, and to Dr. Denis Laurent. Dr. Beat Richner invited His Majesty to preside over the 20th anniversary of the Kantha Bopha's Hospitals in Zürich, Switzerland, in May 2012.
