Under the high instructions of HM the King, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, HE M. Kuy Sophal senior Minister and high ranging officials of the Royal palace handed over the royal support to the Koh Pich victims of the tragedy that occurred in Phnom Penh on November 22, 2010. Up to December 5, 2010, the tragedy costed the life of 353 people from the provinces and from Phnom Penh. The families received 200 USD for each one of their deceased member. In Kompong Cham province the Koh Pich tragedy took the life of 41 people.
