On 20 November 2010 afternoon, HM the King presided over the 1st Day celebrations of the Water Festival. Senior government officials attended the national event, in particular Senate President Samdech Chea Sim, National Assembly President Samdech Heng Samrin, Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen and his spouse, High Privy Counsellor to HM the King Samdech Norodom Sirivudh and his spouse, 1st Senate Vice President Samdech Chivan Monirak and his spouse, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Senators, parliamentarians, R.G.C. members, high ranking officials, Royal Armed Forces, and diplomatic corps.
