On March 28, 2008, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni presided over a religions Sanctification ceremony in the Phnom Sran Preah Buddh Chhauneachak pagoda, in the Srang commune, Kong Pisey district, Kompong Speu province, accompanied by HRH Samdech Norodom Arun Rasmey and her husband, H.E. Mr. Keo Puth Rasmey, Deputy Prime Minister, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Som Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace. HM the King took this opportunity to distribute humanitarian aid to Dauchis, Tachis, disabled persons and villagers of the commune.
