On May 14, 2007, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath, Samdech Preah Ream Norodom Buppha Devi, members of the Royal Family and Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Som Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, went to celebrate His 54th Birthday in the Preah Buddh Teuk Phos Pagoda, Teuk Phos district, Kompong Chhnang province. On this auspicious occasion, His Majesty the King distributed humanitarian aid to 348 villagers who attended the ceremony and with each one of whom He took time to chat.
